New England Conference of Young People in AA Committee

Help them bring the conference right here in Western Mass

The purpose of the Western Mass NECYPAA Bid Committee is to bring the New England Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous to a central location in Area 31 in 2012. As alcoholics both young in age and spirit, we stand to promote unity amongst our fellows at all levels, from the individual group to the entire Area.

We seek to reach out to youth in AA and help them to achieve sobriety and be of service to others. We strive to unite the scattered pockets of enthusiastic youth in recovery in Area 31 into a cohesive fellowship that will stand together to deter dying separately. We demonstrate through action that misery in sobriety is not mandatory, and moreover that the joy of sobriety is abundantly available regardless of age of body or spirit.

Through unity we can solidify an awareness of the gravity of the 36 principles in AA
to youth in recovery.By placing our common welfare first, youth in AA can achieve sobriety
as we walk hand in hand and trudge the road to happy destiny.
